Why Great Artists Often Struggle to Be Seen
Every week, I meet incredibly talented artists. Their work is thoughtful. Their craftsmanship is exceptional. Their passion is undeniable. Yet many of them share the same frustration:
"Why isn't anyone finding my work?"
The truth is, talent and visibility are two different things.
Creating exceptional art is only part of the journey. Helping the right people discover it is the other.
Many artists assume that marketing means becoming someone they're not—posting constantly, chasing trends, or trying to "sell."
I don't believe that's what good marketing looks like. Marketing is simply helping the people who would genuinely love your work discover that it exists.
It starts with telling your story.
Showing your process.
Building relationships.
Showing up consistently.
Small actions repeated over time create meaningful opportunities.
If your work isn't getting the attention you hoped for, don't assume your art is the problem.
Sometimes the only thing missing is a bridge between your studio and the people waiting to discover your work.
From My Notebook
Great art deserves to be seen.
Showing up consistently helps make that possible.
